Cinemax Description
The Cinemax Kit for the Sony A7 series allows you to transform your full-frame mirrorless camera into a cinema camera. It is compatible with the following bodies:
- Sony A7SIII
- Sony A7IV
- Sony A1
- Sony A7RIV
- Sony A7RV
It mounts to your Smallrig's cage and allows you to power all your rig's D-tap components (camera, external monitor, microphone, follow focus, etc.) with a single V-mount battery. No more needing to recharge dozens of batteries before each shoot: a few V-lock batteries will suffice!
This kit also provides you with plenty of mounting points for your various accessories, with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the Cinemax top and bottom plate (see photos).
The Cinemax for A7 is compatible with our XLR Kit , which will allow you to use the Sony XLR-H1 handle with the Cinemax thanks to the Smallrig adapter.

Necessary equipment (not included)
- Smallrig 3667 Cage (or other model with the same dimensions)
- V-mount battery
- Necessary d-tap compatible power cables for your accessories (eg: Alvin's cables or Kondor Blue )
The package contains:
- The assembled Cinemax kit
- The 3 screws needed for installation on your camera
- An H4 Allen key
Designed and assembled in France.
