Description of Cinemax
The Cinemax for Sony FX3/FX30 mounts onto your camera cage and allows you to power all the components of your rig (camera, external monitor, microphone, follow focus, etc.) with a single V-mount battery. No more charging dozens of batteries before each shoot: a few V-lock batteries will do!
This kit also provides you with numerous mounting points for your various accessories, with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads on the top and bottom plate of the Cinemax (see photos).
The Cinemax is compatible with the XLR Kit, which allows you to use the Sony XLR-H1 handle with the Cinemax. The Cinemax Pro pack (including Cinemax and XLR kit) is available for this use.

Required equipment (not included)
- Smallrig 4183 (or 4184 ) cage OR complete Tilta V2 cage OR Sirui cage
- V-mount battery
- Power cables required that are compatible with D-tap connectors for your accessories (e.g., Alvin's cables or Kondor Blue )
The package contains:
- The Cinemax assembly
- The 3 screws needed to install it on your camera
- A 3/8" to 1/4" conversion insert for bottom mounting on your cage
- An H4 Allen key
Designed and assembled in France.
